Radios and other electronic devices can be brought to Wild Cat Solid Waste District for no charge. Electronic items are sent to a registered recycling facility located in Indiana. They are disassembled by hand and sorted into categories such as plastic, circuit boards, glass, metal, wire, etc.
Goodwill Stores are also taking electronic items weather they work or not. If the item works it can be resold, if it does not they will send it through a recycling vendor. Goodwill accepts computers, monitors, radios, televisions, mice, keyboards, DVD players, VCRs, etc. Goodwill does not accept large appliances such as washers, dryers, stoves, or refrigerators.
