Hazardous materials are collected within Clinton County, as well as across the country, in an effort to protect and preserve our drinking water and other natural resources. By keeping these materials out of the landfills, these materials can be disposed of in less environmentally harmful ways and in some cases recycled. In Clinton County, we have broken hazardous materials into separate categories for the ease of understanding of each material’s hazards.
