Waste cooking oil can now be brought to Wild Cat Solid Waste District. The used oil is sent to be refined and made into pet food, biodiesel, and cosmetics. Cooking oil should never be poured down the drain. It can clog pipes and result in costly plumbing repairs.
Do not mix other materials with cooking oil. If motor oil or other liquids are mixed with cooking oil, it can not be sent for recycling. Wild Cat Solid Waste District will still accept contaminated cooking oil but it will have to be sent for incineration.
